PRH Carpentry can assist in the installation of Hardwood, Pine and composite/ekodecking. We only use quality H3 treated timber, stainless steel fittings and fixtures and flashing tape to prevent rot.

Hardwood decking such as Merbauh, spotted gum and blackbutt give you that true timber feel deck. It can be stained to bring out the beauty of some beutiful hardwoods. Maintenance should be regularly carried out once a year to keep the timber at its finest.

Composite decking is relatively new to the market and offers clients a zero maintenance material. However it just does not beat real hardwood and is significantly more expensive to purchase.

Pine decking is something we only recommend for rentals, if the budget is tight, or if the deck area is completed covered from the elements. It requires frequent maintence and must be stained on all sides prior to intallation.

Pergolas

Adding a Pergola or awning over your deck, can really compliment the the area.

Not only does it look good but serves a purpose. A well thought out Pergola or Awning will prevent rain from entering the exterior doors and windows and protect you from the harsh sun.

With so many different designs out there, it can be hard to choose. PRH Carpentry designs all pergolas and awnings that will suit your home and provide a decorative and functional structure. We ensure all pergolas and awnings are above code, structurally sound, stainless steel fittings and fixtures used and a struture that will stand the test of time
